Karlovy Vary Architecture Guide

Czech-English publication introduces the architectonic heritage of Karlovy Vary from the oldest times until today. It brings an overview of three hundred buildings, which represent all architectonic styles and important periods of the development of Karlovy Vary. However, it is not limited to just protected cultural monuments and historical buildings, but it also presents ones that are half-forgotten or undeservedly marginalised, and also new buildings, interesting realizations from recent times.
The book starts with a short overview of the historical, urbanistic and construction development of the city. The main part is an index of architeconically valuable objects and it ends with a map of the city with the entries of the catalogue marked, dictionary of architects, builders, index of names, places and references.
