Freight Rail Terminal Žižkov

The text part first outlines the circumstances of the station's creation and then describes its individual parts (the administrative building, warehouse, gatehouse and waterworks). This is followed by an assessment of the significance of the building, which was the pride of the First Republic Czechoslovak State Railways, and an outline of the possibilities for its future use. A more extensive pictorial part includes historical and current photographs of the exterior and interior of the station buildings. The publication concludes with medallions of all three authors of the Žižkov railway station - civil engineer Miroslav Chlumecký and architects Karel Caivas and Vladimír Weiss.
