Přemysl Koblic: fotograf a publicista

Kniha Přemysl Koblic fotograf a publicista představuje fotografickou tvorbu a teoretickou činnost  Přemysl Koblic, který výrazně přispěl k vývoji moderní české fotografie. Byl průkopníkem širokoúhlé a živé fotografie, a je autorem řady odborných publikací a stojí za stovkami přípěvků v dobových odborných časopisech. Koblic rovněž vedl kurzy a přednášel v klubech fotografů amatérů, a sám vystavoval na desítkách tuzemských fotografických přehlídkách. Jako vystudovaný chemik využil své znalosti ve prospěch fotografie a vynalézal nové postupy i fotografické přístroje. Jeho odkaz je stále aktuální. Ať se již jedná o jeho postupy při vyvolávání a zvětšování nebo o jeho přístup a pojetí fotografie.

SUMMARY
The book PŘEMYSL KOBLIC photographer and publicist presents the photographic production and theoretical activities of an exceptional Czech photographer of the 1920s–1940s. Přemysl Koblic significantly contributed to the development of modern Czech photography. He was a pioneer of wide-screen and live photography, and he commented on the topical issues of Czech photography as well as the organisation of amateur photography clubs. He is an author of many expert publications, and he wrote hundreds of articles that were published in specialised historical magazines. In his effort to improve the technical level of amateur photographers, he taught special courses and gave lectures in amateur photography clubs. His photographs were presented at tens of exhibitions at home and abroad. As a qualified chemist, he used his knowledge to contribute to photography and invented new methods and photographic devices. His legacy is still present whether it concerns his developing and enlarging procedures or his photography approach and interpretation.
