The Mining Towns of the Bohemians Ore Mountains

Kniha nabízí shrnutí sociálních, hospodářských a kulturních aspektů těžby kovů v českém Krušnohoří. Jednotlivé kapitoly se věnují vzniku a vývoji horních měst od 14. do 16. století. Plastický obraz historie Krušnohoří doplňují kapitoly např. k dějinám místních cechů či medailérství. Speciální pozornost je věnována sakrálním památkám v kontextu reformace a následné rekatolizace. Osudy vybraných památek a uměleckých děl, výstižně dokládajících bohatou a pestrou historii kdysi významného regionu Čech, jsou sledovány až do druhé poloviny 20. století, kdy řada z nich podlehla zániku v důsledku těžby hnědého uhlí a na ni navázaných provozů.
